The Baltimore slumlord Watch Project was started six years ago as a way to unite Baltimore’s residents around making our city safer, stronger, and cleaner.  It’s been wildly successful, and led to the creation of Housing Policy Watch, a public policy and advocacy project that centers its work around the policies and laws that allowed Baltimore to fall into such a state of decline — and hopefully change some of those laws to make way for smarter, more sustainable development.

Your tax-deductible contribution to Housing Policy Watch will help communities and residents who are overwhelmed and overburdened by blighted vacant structures, and unsafe housing.  Your donation will also help support better housing policy across Maryland, for landlords and tenants, homeowners and developers. In addition, you will support outreach and education efforts that will lead to cleaner and safer communities, along with safe and healthy housing for all.
