All West side residents should attend this important public meeting, sponsored by the IAFF Local 734, with regard to changes proposed to fire stations in West Baltimore.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 9th at 6:30 PM for a FREE spaghetti dinner and hear more about the impact of these changes on you, your family and your neighbors.

Hosted by Baltimore Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 734
1202 Ridgely Street
Baltimore, Maryland 21230

Last summer, Baltimore City Fire Chief James Clack recommended the closure of Trucks 10 and 15, and Squad 11, some of the busiest fire companies in Baltimore City. The City closed Truck 15 and Squad 11, leaving the City’s east side under-staffed and Baltimore residents’ safety at risk.

In attempt to fix the problems Chief Clack created for the east side by implementing unnecessary and irresponsible BCFD company closures last year, he now wants to move west side stations to East Baltimore to cover the service gaps that have been seen and felt throughout the City since the closures.

  • Where will that leave West Baltimore’s neighborhoods?
  • How will you and your family be affected?
  • Will East Baltimore retain the coverage it so badly needs?
  • What can you do?

Rick Hoffman, President, International Association of Firefighters Local 734, will address these questions and more!

Please also indicate the number of guests that will be accompanying you.

This is a very important meeting, and I urge everyone to attend. Your lives, your families, and your homes are at risk once again, due to Chief Clack’s poor judgement.
