After an administrative hearing, the City has revoked the multi-family dwelling license for the Madison Park North Apartments, citing the owner’s negligence and out-of-control crime as the reasons for the actions.
“The City will continue to hold this and other negligent landlords responsible for the harm their irresponsible management inflicts upon tenants and the surrounding neighborhood,” said Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. “We will not tolerate blatant disrespect and disregard for the health and well being of residents in Baltimore City.”
We can only hope Mayor Rawlings-Blake and Baltimore Housing will apply these same standards to the owners of single-family homes who wreak the same havoc on our city’s neighborhoods. You can read the full press release here.
